Composting Workshop Postponed
The home composting workshop scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Bushnell Sage Library has been postponed indefinitely due to the unavailability of the workshop instructor. Information on a new date for the workshop will be posted on the Town's web site when we receive confirmation from the instructor. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this postponement. Solid Waste Task Force

Transfer Station Stickers
Transfer Station stickers for FY2010 (Green) are now required for entry to the Transfer Station and, as of September 1, 2009, FY2009 stickers were no longer valid. Stickers may be purchased at the Town Hall during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM. Recycling Booklet Update
The Southern Berkshire Regional Household Hazardous Waste Program (of which the Town of Sheffield is a member) has updated its booklet entitled "How to reduce, reuse, and recycle common household items, and dispose of household hazardous materials".
